Age Prevent – annual maintenance facial treatment

This treatment is recommended once a year to help preserve the skin’s collagen and make it firmer. It is suitable for all skin types and tones, with minimal downtime. A single annual treatment can help keep your skin looking younger for longer. This rejuvenating therapy is recommended for the first signs of sun damage, fine lines, freckle-like spots and pigmentation. Fine lines, brown spots and red visible capillaries become less noticeable, and the skin looks fresher and more youthful. The treatment can help slow down further skin ageing and requires no special preparation.

Who is it for?

  • those noticing the first signs of skin ageing;
  • those whose skin has been affected by sunbathing or frequent use of tanning beds, with freckles, age spots, visible capillaries or fine lines starting to appear;
  • those whose skin is beginning to lose its elasticity and firmness;
  • those who cannot take a few days off after a treatment;
  • those who would prefer a treatment that does not injure the skin

Earlier skin resurfacing treatments focused on the entire skin surface, whether it had aged or not. The TwinLight® fractional rejuvenation procedure targets only the specific imperfections, leaving the surrounding healthy skin untouched. The heat of the laser stimulates the formation of new collagen and speeds up renewal in the healthy skin around the treated area.

The treatment is a 2-step procedure that improves skin elasticity and gives a fresher, healthier look. The deep thermal effect of the Fotona TwinLight® laser beam targets the dermis and helps tighten the collagen fibres, while the Er:YAG beam supports the formation of a new, firmer epidermis.
An annual treatment can help prevent skin ageing, as it is easier to renew the collagen of skin that is still smooth than to treat existing wrinkles.

Step one – Conditioning

FRAC3® is a three-dimensional treatment that targets extremely small areas and corrects age-related imperfections in the epidermis and connective tissue while leaving the surrounding healthy tissue intact. This supports faster healing of the treated areas and shorter downtime compared with similar treatments. It helps correct abnormal pigmentation, capillary damage and a loosened collagen structure.

Step two – Fractional therapy

The old, worn epidermis is treated with a fractional Er:YAG laser beam. As the new epidermis grows, the removed micro-channels are replaced by new, firmer and healthier tissue. The result is gentle yet effective tightening of the skin surface.

After the treatment, mild redness may appear, which usually fades within a few hours and can be covered with make-up. There is no need to take time off work. The skin requires no special care at home afterwards, but sun protection is strongly recommended. We also advise avoiding sunbathing and tanning beds for two weeks before the treatment.
