In 2015, I was the first in Hungary to start offering so-called intimate laser gynaecological treatments at the Vitalium Laser Centre operating in the Hotel Európa Fit****superior in Hévíz. I am co-owner and medical director of the laser centre.
I was born in Pécs in 1961. I have four children. I speak English at conversational level.
In 1985, I obtained my medical degree from the Faculty of General Medicine of the University of Medicine of Pécs.
In May 1990, I passed my board examination in obstetrics and gynaecology with distinction.
Since 1995, I have been performing gynaecological endoscopic surgery with independent operating privileges.
Since 1996, I have been performing obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound examinations, holding a category B qualification.
From 1986 to 2020, I worked at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the County Hospital in Zalaegerszeg.
As a private physician, I see patients at the Vitalium Laser Centre operating in the Hotel Európa Fit****superior. At my consultations, for patients arriving at pre-booked appointments made by telephone, I perform gynaecological examinations prior to laser treatments, gynaecological screening, preoperative consultations and, within the framework of day surgery, gynaecological operations without waiting times.
Fotona laser technology
I have always been interested in how women could be helped to maintain a good quality of life in the long term without conventional surgical procedures. Women’s modern lifestyle, lack of exercise and, at an older age, hormonal changes can all contribute, among other things, to the development of incontinence and the weakening of vaginal connective tissue.
In 2015, I was the first in Hungary to start offering intimate laser gynaecological treatments at the Vitalium Laser Centre operating in the Hotel Európa Fit****superior in Hévíz, of which I am also co-owner and medical director.
Several years of experience confirm that these procedures can effectively treat the symptoms of incontinence, vaginal laxity syndrome and many other intimate problems. The treatments are painless and, because they activate the body’s self-healing mechanisms, their effects are long-lasting; no side effects are known, and the positive feedback speaks for itself.
New dimensions – Twinlight 3D
In 2018, Dr. Jorge E. Gaviria revealed a new dimension of intimate laser treatments when he began using combined Erbium and Neodymium laser treatments. His three years of research demonstrated that this unique new treatment achieves a tissue effect twenty times deeper. This new possibility aroused my interest. I managed to design and have manufactured a new adapter that enabled me to apply this new intimate laser technique, called Twinlight 3D. We have been using it routinely in our treatments since October 2018. Together with Dr. Gaviria, I am currently one of only two doctors in the world – and the only one in Europe – performing this new type of treatment, here at the Vitalium Laser Centre in Hévíz.
Lectures
In May 2022, I gave a lecture on laser labiaplasty at the Laser & Health Academy conference held in Portorož.
A medical textbook presenting the effectiveness of laser medicine, entitled 'The Laser Essentials', is expected to be published in 2023, in which I have authored a separate chapter on laser labia minora reduction.
Health Day at Európa Fit
As part of the Health Day held on 7 October 2023, Dr. Péter Regényi was among our specialists giving lectures, speaking about preserving intimate youthfulness with laser treatments.

The Health Day aimed to introduce the private healthcare services of the Health Centre opened in the hotel to local residents, and was a great success.
