Psychological counselling, autogenic training and progressive relaxation all support mental health and psychological wellbeing. The 50-minute individual counselling session is tailored to the client’s life situation and needs and can focus on recognising strengths and on stress-reducing and relaxation techniques, among other things.
Autogenic training is a method that helps physical and mental relaxation; practised regularly, it may reduce stress and improve sleep quality, physical and mental resilience and self-awareness. It may also contribute to easing some psychosomatic complaints. Progressive muscle relaxation, through conscious relaxation of the muscles, can help reduce physical and mental tension, stress and anxiety and improve sleep quality.
Complex movement therapy is also available for children. After assessing their abilities, the specialist puts together a personalised exercise sequence; practising it at home for 15–20 minutes a day may help with school performance and learning difficulties, among other things.
