Dr. Erzsébet Rigó
I started my career in 1994 at the Endocrinology Department of the Szent-Györgyi Albert Medical University in Szeged. For two years, I primarily dealt with endocrine patients. Rare endocrine diseases also occurred in this department, so even as a beginner, I was able to gain extensive experience in the care of endocrine patients.
Later, I moved to Szombathely, where I worked at the 1st Internal Medicine Department of Markusovszky Hospital, as well as in the diabetology and endocrinology specialist consultations. Besides my own specialty, the department also focused on nephrology, immunology, and angiology, allowing me to become acquainted with a wide spectrum of internal medicine. I also participated in the work of the Emergency Department.
In 1999, I passed my board exam in internal medicine, in 2001 in endocrinology, and in 2005 in clinical pharmacology. In 2009, I obtained a license in diabetology. For family reasons, I moved to Zalaegerszeg in 2009.
From 2012 to 2021, I worked in the endocrinology and diabetology specialist consultations at Kanizsai Dorottya Hospital in Nagykanizsa.
I participated in the outpatient endocrinology care at Markusovszky Hospital in Szombathely until December 2023.
In my work, I strive to approach patients' problems with a holistic perspective.
I have an advanced level language exam in English and an intermediate level language exam in German.
