Snoring is a problem that affects both men and women and for which there are numerous solutions. Fotona's NightLase® therapy is a non-invasive, patient-friendly laser treatment to improve the patient's quality of sleep. NightLase reduces the effects of sleep apnoea and decreases the amplitude of snoring.
The first treatment is accompanied by a specialist consultation, the aim of which is to assess whether the patient is suitable for laser snoring treatment. If the patient decides in favour of the treatment together with the specialist, the consultation fee will be credited to the price of the first treatment.

The NightLase treatment does not require any special preparation on the part of the patient, as it is a short outpatient procedure - a maximum of 30 minutes - without anaesthetic, and is carried out in two stages: First, the tissue is heated, and in a second step, the heated tissue is strengthened. The treatment affects the soft palate and the throat, and the patient feels no pain, only the warmth associated with the treatment, which disappears immediately after the treatment.NightLase treatment is a very gentle procedure, without pain, bleeding or tissue damage. After the treatment, the patient can immediately return to their normal activities without the need for aftercare or pain relief.

Three treatments over a period of six weeks are recommended to achieve the desired result.
